My guilty pleasure is… Chocolate. And junk food (wings, pizza, fries… ) Should I be admitting all of that?
My favorite way to get active is… To get outside. I love being outdoors, playing tennis, running, etc. I live close to the Metroparks and try to take advantage of the trails whenever I can.
What does healthy living mean to you? Balance. I try to exercise and eat healthy as much as possible. If I go out and have a beer, wings and pizza, I realize it isn’t the worst thing in the world. I’ll enjoy myself and continue to do the best that I can, most of the time.

The most gratifying part of my job is…Seeing people lose weight, cholesterol numbers going down, blood pressure numbers going down and the happiness participants feel when the changes they make pay off.
My favorite way to get active is…Running in the park on the trails.
To me, healthy living means…Exercising all the time, eating healthy most of the time, and filling my life with laughter, friendship and family. Add watching college football, listening to good music and having an occasional beer? That’s just a bonus!

The most gratifying part of my job is…Watching people realize that they can make a positive impact on their health with just a few behavioral changes.
My current (fitness/health/diet) goal is…To try some new recipes and foods. Eating real food is so important and the best way to start is to spend a little extra time in the grocery store or market. If I cook it, I know exactly what goes into the recipe.
My guilty pleasure is…Spice drops! Sometimes you just gotta have ‘em.
My motivation to stay healthy is… My family. Practicing what I preach so that I will be around a long time with them.
My best health tip is… To move and eat healthy. Get 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise and 5 to 9 servings of fresh fruits and veggies every day.
My favorite way to get active is… Putting one foot in front of the other. And just keep moving!

My best healthy tip… Always be sure to have a bottle of water next to you so you can stay hydrated throughout the day. Often times, we think we are hungry when we are actually thirsty. Staying hydrated throughout the day can help control our cravings and reduce times when we think we are hungry. Drinking water throughout the day can also help maintain energy levels and prevent mid-day headaches.
Every day I make sure to eat… Fruits and vegetables! I prepare my fruits and vegetables every Sunday so I can conveniently grab them throughout the week for snacks and for my lunches. I try to mix up the fruits and vegetables every week so I am never bored with eating the same thing.
My current (fitness/health/diet) goal is… To be able to perform 5 strict pull-ups in a row and to run my next half marathon in under 1:40:00 (1 hour and 40 minutes)

The most gratifying part of my job is… Helping people. If someone calls me with an issue, I always try to be that calm, helpful voice on the other end of the line so by the time we hang up, they sound (and feel) completely stress-free.

My favorite way to get active is… Cardio and weights. My favorite exercise class includes yoga, aerobics, and weights in a heated room. It helps sweat out the toxins and I feel great when it’s over!

The most gratifying part of my job is… Being able to work for a company that focuses on prevention driven efforts- why wait until we’re sick to intervene? I love being a part of a company that genuinely cares about the health of its employees and clients.
To me, healthy living means… Eating well but also treating yourself from time to time! Try to exercise at least once a day in some way, shape or form. And don’t neglect your mental health! Often times we are solely focused on our physical health and forget to address our mental health which is equally important to our quality of life.
My favorite way to get active is… weight lifting, taking walks in the metro parks with my dog, and bike riding!

My motivation to stay healthy is…My family. My favorite thing to do is spend time with them, and staying healthy is key in making that time together the best quality possible.
My guilty pleasure is…A good, lager beer on tap. And pizza. Or the two together, preferably!
My current fitness goal is…Gain strength through muscle building exercises focused on the core. My abs and back muscles never fully recovered after having kids. I used to blame it on pregnancy, but have realized that’s just an easy excuse. It takes consistent working out to gain muscle, and I have recognized I need to put in more effort in doing so.
My favorite way to get active is…I love nature and being outdoors, so taking a walk or hike with my husband and kids is one of the most enjoyable types of activity for me.
My motivation to stay healthy is to live a long life with as little pain and illness as possible. Eating a well-balanced diet and exercising regularly helps me feel energized and happy throughout the day!
My guilty pleasure is: ice cream. I always take the time to scoop my ice cream into a bowl, however, to avoid eating an entire pint (…or gallon) at once! Moderation and portion sizes are key.
My current fitness goal is: to run a marathon in all 50 states.
My favorite way to get active is: to go for a run. I like to explore new cities and areas by going for a jog and sightseeing along the way!
My favorite way to get active is… Gymnastics! Whether I am lifting my gymnasts or lifting myself off the ground, gymnastics is the way I constantly stay active.
